“The Fall of Man” by Hugo van der Goes
[The name I got from Karl Shuker again, and unfortunately I can’t find any sources that aren’t him. Even if it’s a bogus name, the concept is certainly one with a lot of art history traction–the Serpent of the Garden of Eden as a chimeric devilish creature rather than just a snake.]
This man-sized creature bears an innocent expression despite its odd, hybrid appearance. Its face is that of a human, with backwards-sweeping horns and a head of luxurious hair. Its body is that of a quadrupedal reptile, with a ridge of spines down the back and a long broad tail tipped in a stinger.
The draconopides, or “scaled devils”, are among the vanguard of Hell’s forces in the mortal world. It is their duty to spread discord and mistrust, leaving people, families and societies vulnerable to the promises of stability and order offered by Hell’s other agents. There are those who suggest that the first sin was inspired by a draconopides’ sinister suggestions. Between their shapechanging abilities and their mind-influencing magic, draconopides are consummate manipulators. Even devils view draconopides as dangerous and possibly seditious due to their affinity for utilizing chaos.
Most draconopides avoid combat at all costs—although they are fairly skilled assassins, having to rely on violence is typically an indication that a scheme has backfired somehow. A draconopides uses its spell-like abilities to make allies out of enemies and thwart any attempt at organized resistance before disappearing from the battlefield entirely. Draconopides are adept at holding grudges, and those who cross them may end up with their throat torn out as they sleep.
A draconopides is typically small for a Medium creature, growing up to five feet in length and weighing little more than 100 pounds. Their humanoid faces are always beauteous and innocent in aspect, even in the middle of combat.

[Shoutout to @cappadocius for inspiring me to make this a div rather than just a one-shot evil outsider.]
This grotesquely bloated creature is vaguely humanoid, with oozing sores covering its body and patchy hair on its lower half. A foul odor rises from it and it moves with a sloshing, rolling gait.
All divs represent the forces of corruption and vaporighus represent the pollution of the air itself. Vaporighus are wretched stinking beasts that dwell in Abaddon, feeding on mortals, fiends and petitioners alike. They have little society except for their love of violence and decay, although their ability to animate objects allows them to surround themselves with mindless pawns. Vaporighus typically use these constructs as guardians, but may pit them against one another in fights to the death for the fun of it.
Despite their bulk, vaporighus are surprisingly mobile and imbued with the ability of magical flight. They rarely bother with stealth, and their stench would render such strategies ineffective at best. Creatures they cannot engage in melee are bombarded with spells from afar. They especially delight in battling opponents with heavy armor or elaborate weaponry in order to enjoy the despair their destruction would cause.
Vaporighus, like all divs, suffer from a psychological weakness as a side effect of their creation by Ahriman. Vaporighus cannot stand strong pleasant smells such as perfume, and target perfumed targets above all others. When on the Material Plane, they go out of their way to destroy sources of perfumes, such as myrrh trees and animals with musk, and these can be used as bait to lure out these foul creatures. A vaporighu is short for a Large creature, standing only 8 feet tall, but are nearly spherical. They are surprisingly light for their size due to the foul gasses that permeate their bodies.

Breath Weapon (Su) Creatures who take damage from a vaporighu’s breath weapon must succeed a DC 21 Fortitude save or be paralyzed for 1d4 rounds. This is a paralysis and poison effect. The save DC is Constitution based.
Change Size (Sp) Three times per day, a vaporighu can magically change a creature’s size. This works just like an enlarge person or reduce person spell (the vaporighu chooses when using the ability), except that the ability can work on the vaporighu. A DC 15 Fortitude save negates the effect. The save DC is Charisma-based. This is the equivalent of a 2nd-level spell.
Corrosive Slime (Ex) Any creature striking a vaporighu with a touch attack or natural weapon must succeed a DC 21 Reflex save or take 2d6 acid damage. A creature striking a vaporighu with a manufactured weapon must succeed a DC 21 Reflex save or have their weapon gain the broken condition. In addition, a vaporighu deals 2d6 points of acid damage with its natural attacks. A creature wearing armor that is struck by a vaporighu must succeed a DC 21 Reflex save or have its armor gain the broken condition. Any armor or weapon with the broken condition that fails a second save is destroyed. The save DC is Constitution based.
